Gas Can Spot Mounting

Post by mudflap »

Hello All,

TM9-810 shows the gas can spout, in its canvas bag, attached to the right side of the dash (see photo).

Does anyone know how it is actually mounted or what it attaches to? Is there a bracket or some type of loop that it ties to?

Best Regards...

My 1945 Open Cab 353 had one. Looked original as it was well worn/rotted out. Mine was mounted with 2 sheet metal screws.

Looking through the files to see if I took pics many years ago.
