15 gallon (?) Fuel Drum

I recently saw a fuel drum of about 15 gallon volume. It is stamped: Army Air Corps, and on the bottom NESCO and 41. It is an exact smaller version of the 55 gal. variety. I was told it was air drop. Know if it is? KFB
