My Grandfather

Lately I've been asking my grandfather about his experiences during the war, and I found out that he actually was an Army driver. He drove Jeeps, Dodge Weapons Carriers, and even CCKWs! He joined the US Army in 1945 and was attached to the 102nd Infantry Division (The Ozarks) dealing with artillery in Europe, and later on became part of the US Constabulary and drove armoured cars and other vehicles. It's been great talking to him about those times. He had four other brothers that also fought in WWII, and it's amazing to hear him talk about their experiences as well! We'll have to take him for a ride in the CCKW after it's restored and let him re-live some old memories!
