The GMC CCKW

Was wondering if anyone knows what model/year this data plate was added to? I have a july '43 (as near as I can work out) open cab .... but there doesnt appear to be holes drilled for the "wire cautions plate" data plate which according to TM9-801 in the cab appears to the left of the cooling system drain plate and the publications plate. Ocourse the cab may be a different era to the chassis ...
