The GMC CCKW

Having gone back through some old posts here ... it seems there is some argument re dates of manufacturing. How accurate is the production data supplied on the main site? I understand that there could be quite a difference between manufacturing date and delivery date - depending on the type of body placed on the cab chassis produced, but in general are the production data supplied on the main websire correct? Thoughts, opinions?
