LATEST FROM GI JOE'S OWN MOTORPOOL

Post by joel gopan »

My CCKW will be changing from Shell Rotell #30 to Shell Rotella T 15-40 during the coming 2008 year.
It is one of the few motor oils on the market engineered for heavy duty gasoline engine use in trucks. I have been using straight 30 motor oils in the my Army vehicles and have stuck with the original brand that the engines were broken in on. The only exception is the M-37 which gets hard use in the winter plowing snow. It has had Rotella T 15-40 since 1984, the engine was installed new at that time, it has started faithfully in sub zero weather and has a Fisher 8' Snowplow. There has been 0 Zero oil consumption during highway use and during winter plowing.
Nothing but the best, it pays off.
