IGNITION SWITCH

Post by joel gopan »

Your CCKW left the factory with a DELCO Ignition Switch with Keys, all CCKWX and CCKWS with the 1574 Cab had a keyed switch. The Hurd H-700 key was used and it fit every other combat vehicle of the period, evn the Harley and indian motorcycle. 1942 say all CCKWs converted to Toggle switches. There is no better feeling than the snappy feel of the DELCO Switch when one gets ready to fire off his CCKW.
I have installed the original DELCO Ignition Switch with key in my CCKW in order to prevent stick little fingers from playing with my truck.
