A different kind of CCKW :)

Post by Abram J »

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I hope everyone enjoys it anyways!

In the realization that I probably will never be lucky enough to own a full size CCKW I have started building a model of one in 1/35 (of course now I want a couple more to build too!)

Here are some pictures of it in progress so far with my finished M2A1 Half Track. I'd like to finish up the CCKW in the army's 30th Infantry markings, but I'm not sure if they used any vehicles, so I hope someone can help me out with that.

The bed and chassis are painted, I need to finish a couple more things on the cab before paint, then onto the markings, then weathering a bit. A few questions too, does anyone know where the trucks antenna mounts would be? What a canvas top over the cab would look like with the gun mount ring attached? I think thats all for now!

So, without further adieu, here are the pictures of my model:

CCKW and Half track 1
CCKW and Half track 2
CCKW and Half track 3
CCKW and Half track 4

PS, sorry for the poor picture quality
