Not as noticiable as the pioneer tool rack, but still they look good when mounted on the running board. A few months back, I had my truck in a patriotic display at a local shopping center when a troop of Boy Scouts stopped by. To them the most interesting thing were the pioneer tools mounted on the truck. Tools of the Boy Scouts of America. :D :D

little brackets

Post by awg »

Hi Fernando,

I mounted my tools on the running boards, as shown in your pic, from TM9-801.

I fabricated the little brackets from galvanised sheetmetal.

Is this what you are considering??

It is a very easy job.

The correct mounting holes already existed in my running boards.

A CCKW originality expert who looked at my vehicle wanted to know
where I had obtained them, he seemed a little dissapointed when I said.

Thanks Gerard very useful photos, much clearer than TM9-801, I can see
a couple of extra details, I cant obtain the correct parts over here, so need to fabricate (for now)
