There were no annual model changes that were specific to a certain year. There were production changes in order to improve upon a component, or to simplify assembly. Remember, the Army relied on "Standardization" as much as possible, and sort of locked in many features that were flawed. The reason for this was to keep the parts system interchangeable as possible within the same make of truck.
