40 AMP VOLTAGE REGULATOR TRIVIA
The Rectangular Voltage Regulator 1118502 was incorporated into CCKW production on 25 October, 1944, it replaced the 1118468 40 Amp Voltage Regulator with the pointed Ends. The Lateer 1118502 has built-in provisions for radio suppression, the 1118468 did not. Be careful when replacing one with the other, as the locations of the terminal posts are in a different order. The 1118502 is a sealed type unit. The 1118502 was Gloss Black, and the 1118468 was semi gloss black when new.
