Before lifting the Cargo body from the CCKW chassis, remove the two bolts thru the rear of the chassis that are inside the Tool Box.

Do not store the Cargo Body on 55 Gallon Drums, it is extremely dangerous. Children like to play in and under these and they may not be stable and can tip. Set them on wood blocking close to the ground.
I woce rode a Cargo body to the ground that was on 55 Gallon drums, there was no warning, I was like a spit in a frying pan trying to jump out.

I know most of you have seen a truck body setting on barrels, but it is not a safe practice.

I placed the bed I am stripping and working on on 4x4 board. It is somewhat inconvenient when working, but as pointed out, a lot safer.
That bed is still for sale, except it will be sandblasted and painted with 319 lusterless paint when the right buyer is ready to purchase it.
