This one was supposed to be a keeper, but I'll never have a shed high enough to accommondate it and time to restore it properly, so let's see if somebody else wants to have a go. Ex Norway with Norway tires and data plates, this is an early Split 352 with CCKWX brake set up and civvy instruments. Chassis # 38576B1. Ring Mount built by The Tracson Company 1943, Cargo bed by Hermann Body St. Louis 1952. The truck starts and drives, has fresh Finnish MOT and EU documents. The engine's noisy and playing up a bit, I guess it needs a valve job and a carb rebuild, unfortunately nobody had ever time to debug the truck after it was surplused cirka 1993. The same goes for the tranny, it's stuck in high gear, possibly a bent fork. I would like to get 7000 Euros for the truck. P/x a vintage Lister Start-O-Matic could be considered. Location near Tampere, Finland. I'll try to post pictures tomorrow.

The truck is still there...I'm open for offers and still intrested in a Lister gen set or Lister CS engines. I know the location is far from ideal.

Sorry, it's sold. Thank You for Your interest. It had some water in the fuel system, I had a nice day ore two getting it started. The next owner will have to clean and service the whole engine.

Hello Arthur,

Just out of curiosity, did you buy the truck just outside Ostersund, Sweden? It sounds like a truck that I looked at once.

Hej Niklas,
yes this is the truck that was for sale on a farm just north of Ostersund. It's a small world. I wonder what happened to the early-looking 353 with a large red cross on cab door that was there too. Lately there was a tipper for sale not far from the place, perhaps a bit pricey considering the worn-out tires etc.

Hej Arthur,

I bought them both! :D The one with the red cross was a 352. I am currently refurbishing it. New paint and I have done some work on the hydrovac and the engine. In all a very nice truck from late 1942.

The tipper was mechanically pretty good. A very good engine refurbished in 1989 by the Norwegian Army. I have never driven a CCKW that felt more powerful than this one. The front tires was worn out but the the rest of the tires was about 75%. Some rust in the cab of course. I actually just was out working on the truck changing the exhaust system.

And I got the price down to 2000 EURO on the tipper!

I regret that I didn´t buy the 1941 truck but I wasn´t bitten by the CCKW bug then...

Best Regards/Niklas
