A beautiful and rare setup, but I couldn't afford the tire cost for the restoration.

It looks like Karoshi is not going to chime in.

That is his truck and trailer. He is a member of the 614th.

It is a nice restoration

I agree on the tire expense. The lumber for the sidesmust have cost a fortune too.

Ohhh ...... Karoshi has been away, not able to chime in. Been fitting a new crank, rods and bits following a MAJOR failure on the road. The guys from the 514th did it in the field again.

Thanks to all from the 514th group, for all their help.

Sorry to hear about the engine. Don updated me on the repairs to the truck and the jeep. Hope you have no problems after this!
See you and the 514th next year.

Chris Hi. We missed you this year but look forward to the next. Don was a real asset and I can not express thanks enough for the help he gave. He travelled half way round the world to visit War & Peace.....and came to my rescue. To have both the truck and the jeep fail within a couple of days, was a bit of a low point.

But then I guess that if we have affairs with 70 year old ladies, things at some time are gonna fall off.

My sincere thanks to the guys of the 514th and to Don W from Idaho.

And Bill you are so right about about tyres, as if the above wasn't enough excitement the Big Rig suffered 3 punctures in the course of three events ! No other failures in 5 years....then Bang, Bang...Bang.
