Hi from far away, NZ.
I have a CCKW, its a bit of a mongrel thing but perhaps someone out there can help me identify exactly what I have.
The Frame tag is: CCKW 353 318608 HI, its a canvas cab dump truck, Timken Axles, was sold to me as a 1942 model.
I have spoke to some of its previous owner and one said it used to be a steel cab, at some stage it also had a drilling rig mounted on the back of it, so its had an interesting life.
I use it on our farm block to carry logs and rock when doing farm track construction.
Any information appreciated, I have owned it for a couple of years but it was only a day ago that I scraped back enough paint to reveal the serial number and the mysterious H I suffix.
Thanks
Adrian
