Greetings from the Motor City

Post by mudflap »

Hello Everyone,

Well, my garage smells like 90w gear lube, my wife thinks that I am experiencing a "midlife crisis", and the question I get most from my friends now is: "So.... What exactly are you going to do with something like that?"

Yes, I finally purchased a CCKW - a LWB cargo model. Truly a piece of history. Never thought I would actually get a chance to own one.

I have been "lurking" on this forum for awhile now. Really enjoy reading the posts.

I still have a lot to learn about these trucks. I'm sure that I will be pestering you all shortly with a gazillion questions as I learn about my new/old GMC.

Best Regards.....

There is a lot of knowledge here. Ask away.

You will LOVE your CCKW. They are about the finest HMV from WW2 and easy to work on.
