Hi all, im Frank im 24 and from the Netherlands and bought last week my first MV and have to pick it up next week. Its a 1942 CCKW 353. I hope i can learn from this forum its only not that busy here!

I live just down Gouda. Where are you living? The truck comes from Spijkernisse. Are u Dutch?

Thanks abn, but the GMC is already restored. It doesnt run and the brakes have to be done because it stands still for the last 10 years. If we have picked it up i will post a picture of it.

No, I am not Dutch, I am actually Canadian. I just love your country and try to visit once a year if possible. I have many friends there now so visiting is lots of fun. I will be going again for a few days in July and then to Beltring with my friend from Broek op Langedijk. You are lucky to have so many vehicles in such close proximity. Have you joined KTR? Good luck with the CCKW.

Goedemorgen Barry,

Yes i am member of KTR for 11 years now. When i was 14 i got my membership for my birthday, then i bought a BSA foldingbike well know as parabike. Now im old enough to buy myself a vehicle. :D
