Hi all,
My name is Kevin Frethey from Auckland, New Zealand and have just signed up.
I have had an interest in GMC's for many years although in the recent past I have strayed a little and seem to have ended up with several Land Rovers. However I do own two GMC's, although they will combine to only make one due to them both missing important parts.
They are an August 1939 and January 1940 ACK352. In decoding the model you will see that they are 4x4 SWB's with civilian cab and front clip (guards, bonnet etc). Both built for the US Marines and left here in NZ when they moved up into the Pacific Islands.
Not sure which section I can asked questions on however, and I have many questions etc (maybe a pre-CCKW section can be added to the forum).
Anyway I looik forward to exchanging info
regards
kev

Hi Kev,
Welcome! great to have an ACK owner on here! what parts are you missing? can you post some photos?
I know what you mean about Land Rovers,I've had several but the only one I'll never sell is my 1964 SWB Series 2A which has been in my family since 1983.
Enjoy the forum!
Matt.
