Not a Truck...but a compliment to Engineers CCKW display

This area is for ebay, Craigslist, GSA, Government Liquication or other auctions. It should include auctions for WWII trucks, parts, trailers, and directly related equipment and accessories, for CCKW, Chevrolet 1.5 ton, US-6, M5-6, DUKW, and WWII trucks larger than 2.5 ton vehicles only.

Cat D4 in Engineers

Post by Cat Man »

Oh yes! The combat engineers had the smaller Cat D4 model like this one.
With Cable Dozer.

Here is the proof. 14th Combat Engineers return fire while bridging the Han River Korea March 1951. Using Cat D4 for cover.

I grew up on stories about these tough machines.

Cat R4 Tractor

Post by Cat Man »

The R4 is the 4 Cylinder Gasoline Engine tractor

The D4 is the 4 Cylinder Diesel Engine. The US Army had both.
