Truck Railings ??????????

This area is for ebay, Craigslist, GSA, Government Liquication or other auctions. It should include auctions for WWII trucks, parts, trailers, and directly related equipment and accessories, for CCKW, Chevrolet 1.5 ton, US-6, M5-6, DUKW, and WWII trucks larger than 2.5 ton vehicles only.

This will be tough.....

Image

Being as they are sitting in a wood Ben Hur they are about 8 feet long. However the Ben Hur only has 4 verticle wood stakes and there are 5 metal stakes. The Ben Hur also had 4 horizontal bars and this has 3.

It also had the middle stakes shorter than the outers.

My guess is a 3/4 ton 60's era M-101 or larger M-105 trailer.

That said....there is a broken piece of wood with an angle braket sticking straight up into the air in the center of the picture. I believe that is a top bow for a Ben Hur. The angle bracket is the same as I have on my Ben Hur trailers.

On the left side of the pic there is another set of 2 wood pieces (under the long sides) which appear shorter. Under magnification it indicates that these are end pieces for an M series trailer.

Not a bad deal for $25.

I love detective work!.... :D

Look like M-104/M105 1 1/2 Ton M-Series, aint worth the $25, unless you have one of the beasts.
