I have a fuel pump that is starting to leak from a small hole on the underside of the fuel pump body
I am guessing the diaphragm has gone although at this stage i can start and run the truck ok
can anyone give me a heads up on likely problem and where i can get a diaphragm if needed

maybe I've answered my own question?
I have just had a look at an NOS pump I have had it dent have the hole or "port that my pump on the truck has - the "hole " mentioned looks perfectly round and is about 2-3mm in diameter or perhaps 3/16 - 1/8 of an inch - like it may have had a plug or some such in it - being alloy I can't imagine it would have "rusted" out - any comments welcome

Due to the danger of leaking gas I would take it apart and inspect.

While apart I would also replace the rubber with a Viton style diaphragm material that is compatible with Ethanol mixed fuel. Kits from the past get eaten up by the "new" gas.

I have done this on several of my vehicles.
