Out of the paint booth and in out of the rain this year.

Steve, I mounted them all by myself. All went on easily and none shot the ring into orbit. Still have all my fingers...so far.

The Firestone tires from Universal are really nice looking. The side lettering (except for the DOT number) makes them look very original. It even has the Firestone label with "Gum Dipped" on it.

As a side note: A couple of Smart A$$es were making fun of the trailer and wanted to know if it was some type of Antenna mast that I put wheels on. For those who don't know it is used to haul a Civy Pontoon Boat like below.

The Armored Car..... but....I'm trailering 'cause Joe Hall is riding with me, and he is bringing along some Dodge items that he is trading to a vendor who will be at the show.

I am bringing the 325 Fire Truck. Trailering due to distance and the 3+ hour ride at 30 mph. About an hour with the Dually.

It was only one smart a$$ making those comments I beleave..... And I think there was also a comment asking if the above mentioned trailer was used for hauling the Wright Flyer also, not just the antennea comment......

Any boat I was ever asked on was easily accessible. If you spent all your money on green stuff and ran out before you finished the dock you should have completed the part by the shore first.

Cripse...everybody in this hobby is a wise a$$...

The reason the dock does not reach shore is that on August 2 it was about 2 feet onshore beyond the waterline. We then had some really bad Thunderstorms (which were training) several times on several days. On Aug 10 the lake was up over 4 feet from the August 2nd date ( a foot higher than in the picture). The next day the dock and the boat floated off into the lake as the height pulled out the 8 foot poles driven into the ground.

The boat is now moored on the lake and you have to swim to get to it.

Missing from the picture is the two Sit down PWC's which were put on their trailer and removed as the water rose.

I find the use of this 24 foot trailer very convenient to sand blasting and painting. It is the right hight for using my pot-blaster, I can quickly move the contents around and indoors if rain is coming, and it is the right height to paint on.

If not used for "body work" it would just sit unused until October when the Boat is pulled for the winter.

The trailer scheme is now a combination of rust color, maroon primer, some white, lots of OD (319,33070,& 23070) POR black, and some silver.

And to answer your question...Yes I am out of money!
