It is you to blaim..

Post by mud-snow »

It is all of you inside here to blaim :x
And i blaim all of you since I suddenly now has a Chevrolet G7117 and two GMC CCKW 353.... :?
Should never have been reading all the nice stories here... I was in to Canadian and English vehicles and was happy abouth that.
Will consider to sell one of the CCKW's since they do take a lot of space..
But hey, they are realy nice to drive, and it feels like power steering on them compared to the Canadian Chevrolets...
Here is also a link to a little film I made during our local meeting this week-end. Sorry, but little GMC there.

So I guess I have to make a "Snow-ball" convoy out of all this... :D
And don't worry, I will enjoy the trucks!

GMC's and Chevy's

Post by Colin Britton »

Well, I'm glad that you found out how great the GMC CCKW is and how much fun they are to drive. Not too sorry about pulling you away from Brit and Canadian stuff though. Unless you have a Scammel Pioneer. I really like them myself and would love to own one. But not too many over here Stateside....
And sure I'll take the blame on "converting" you to the CCKW, no worries there. I've been blamed for worse.
2 nice looking CCKW's you have there, but you would be better off selling something Canadian, not one of the GMC's. :D

And it could get worse, you could get into armor........
ATW,
Doc Britton.

Rolph, you must keep at least one Canadian vehicle. You will need it to pull your CCKWs home for repairs when they break down. :D :D

A M20 or M8 would be more than welcome :-)
And I will keep some Canadian vehicles too. Can not imagine beeing with out any of those.
And a CCKW is much easier to come by than a CMP in Norway.
You still find many CMP's but they do need a lot of work. Many of the CCKW's only needs a brake job and/or fuel-line job to make them fit for fight...

Yes, I will be at beltring. I will be staying with Dirk Leegwater in the stall area. Sorry can't remember the number. I will try and look you up. I am going first to my son's wedding in Italy this Saturday 12th. Then to Holland and then Beltring. I leave for Toronto airport in about an hour.
