Almost Ready

Post by armydriver »

My 1945 CCKW353H1 is nearly ready. I went by and took a look at her yesterday. They have done a wonderful job on her. They straightened out the original front bumper and it looks almost new.
It should be ready for the drive home on Feb. 22nd. I really looking forward to that drive. It is about 35 miles and should be a good workout for the old beauty.
I still need one part. I need one upper tail gate latch used on the dump trucks. I have not been able to find one. I am fabricating the front head ach rack per drawings supplied by Cat Man. Looking good.
Pictures when I get her complete

I know a while back you were concerned about straightening out the original bumper so I'm glad it turned so well for you. We're all looking forward to the pictures!!

Enjoy!
