The tanker only holds about 660 gallons of gas Nick, how many gallons did you use again?

So, seven trucks at about 30 gallons each way is about 420 gallons or about $1575 for fuel

Yes the per gallon is cheaper, but look in the background of the photo - nothing for miles We here in the western states have to drive to everywhere. For me, it's about 30,000 mile per year just in my own vehicles. Having been to Europe, I think most people don't know just how big California is.
BTW, are you going to War & Peace?

Ah, come one now Chris. That would be one impressive site to see all those trucks rolling down the road. I agree though, a Landoll is the only economical way of getting them all to Tower.

I have comes to grips with one thing however. I now realize I'm never going to live the gas situation down . Oh well, at least I finally have a correct fuel gauge but it looks like it needs to be rebuilt.

You are right Chris. I always forget those long distances you have in the USA. No I can't visit War & Peace Show this year. My family (wife and kid) are Commander-in-Chief here.

Too bad you can't make it. I'm hoping to meet with more of my CCKW brothers "across the pond" this trip. 2007 was great, but I'm hoping for a little less rain this time.
