Memorial Day Parades

Post by Thundercat97 »

How many of you on the board are going to be driving your cckw in a parade? I am doing two parades. Heck, I am going on a week's vacation and driving my CCKW the whole time!!

You have to love these old iron horses. :)

I display my CCKW at the Castle Air Museum on Memorial Day. It's the only time of the year they open the aircraft for people to go inside.

I will be taking my truck to the local VFW hall where we will have a static display. My truck, a half track, 1/2 ton Dodge command car and three MB/GPW's and an M-38. They have an M-48 tank in front of the hall, so we will line up with it, flags flying, music playing and a lot of honoring those that gave all they had to give.
