Veterans Day Parade

Post by armydriver »

The parade will be early this year on November 4th in Universal City, Texas. We have a pretty good contingent in the parade. Old Betty Boop, my 353 for those that don't know, two GPW's and a Half Track.
It should be fun, I just hope the weather cooperates.

Weather was very cooperative, lots of good patriots lined the streets and we had two GPW's, one in the lead, one behind, my CCKW and a half track. I had 6 young airmen from Lackland AFB in my truck that are currently enrolled at the Security Police training school at Lackland. It was a lot of fun, but my knees are getting too old for that much double clutching. They sure were in pain by the time I got home.
