GAS CAN NOZZLE COVERS

Post by joel gopan »

Anyone have an original gas can nozzle cover installation? Anyone have a spare NOS Nozzle cover I can buy or trade something rare for? Not all Open Cab CCKWS had this provision. Your truck may have had this at one time, and there will be two extra holes thru the extreme RH side of the Dashboard, which will exit just above the cowl line. Do not confuse these with the upper bolts that attach the cab sides to the dash.

Joel,

I have a nozzle cover mounted on my CCKW. I am not sure if it is original. What do you want to know?

There is a plate inside the cover that reinforces the canvas bag, I would like the dimensions. I have the holes in my cab and will install a bag if I can find a NOS or a bag for a pattern. I will have 2 or three made and return the original with a spare.
