...and dont forget the French mechanical spares that so many US dealers source from Europe, wheel cylinder anyone?

If they work it would not bother me to have foreign parts on the GMC. After all jeeps have been using them for years, and now most jeeps are mostly reproduction parts.
What ever it takes to keep these old pieces of history on the road is what counts and if the parts are french so be it.
