serial number

Hello everybody,I recently bought CCKW 94858A1,short wheelbase,hard cab with manhole,the vendor told me it dates from 6/1942,can anyone confirm this?Is it possible to get the correct hoodnumber? I've rubbed down carefully the hoodsides but nothing.The Truck was brought five years ago from Belgium to Germany.Greetings from Bavaria,Nico
