wooden bed owners

Post by DDoyle »

If any of you fellows have a restored CCKW-353 with wooden bed and a digital camera capable of rendering an image 1600 pixels across (or ideally more), please let me know (or email me at ddoyle9570@aol.com).

I have a request - and a proposition - for you.

Thanks,

Wood Bed Details

Post by Cat Man »

DD,

I hope one of the members can Identify this truck. It was at the Weare Rally, so Bill or Dr Duece should know the owner.

The owner used original hardware and all new wood to restore this wood body CCKW bed. If we can identify the owner and get some pictures for your book, it would be worthwhile. This is probably one of, if not the best wood body restoration I've seen.

Anyone have the contact information??

Hope that helps

CM,
Indeed, that is a nice truck. What I need is a full-on profile photo of the fuel tank.

Once I figure out how to post photos here I'll show what I am after.

Thanks,
David

The owners name is Steve Workman. It is a very nice job.

More pics can be seen here from the 2005 Rally

If any of the pictures on that page will be of assistance PM/email me and I will send you the raw pics direct.

As far as posting Pics have to be hosted elsewhere to post. How to post after having a hosting site can be found in the FAQ section of the board. If you continue to have issues email me and I will help you out.
