CCKW 352 SN 313255B1 AIRBORNE AIRPORTABLE

hello everybody
olivier from france l just found an 352 airportable , stay 10 years in wood , start after little check ignition , it's french rebuild, cab and rear bed (steel early model) not correct , somebody have photo of correct rear bed , l think it's wood bed or composite , cut in 2 ways?

Oliver. your English is just fine, a whole lot better than my French. That is a real rarity and a great find. There are some photos of a wooden bed truck in the Weare Vally Section 2005 under WWII vehicles.

Welcome
All airborne cargo trucks have composite beds
I did not know that any 352s were converted to "split frames"other than the prototype with a hard cab.

I m with army driver . We understand what your saying just fine. and like john cliche I had never seen any mention of an airborne 352 with open cab , A fantastic find and Glad you have saved it .It might be a one of a kind. Hope you are able to restore and enjoy driving that rare jewel .

Hi everybody, there were over 400 airborn versions build with
short-wheelbase. this was written by the late Bart Vanderveen in his magazine Wheels and Tracks, No 22 to be more precisely. The article also contained a picture of an example wih open cab, winch and wooden body.

bed is in very good condition for its age I have the same bed on my 352 good luck with it
