Troop seat/stake slats hardware

Post by Zack Magnusson »

For my Chevy cargo, I've made new slats, I have all the stakes, and I've purchased 5/16 coarse thread carriage bolts of several lengths and square nuts to bolt it all together. Is there any definitive resource on how it's supposed to be done? I've not found much.

You might want to take center punch and punch the bolt threads and nut after installation so they won't back off under vibration
