Front Springs HELP

Post by KEVINABR »

Hi all can anyone help here i have a worn bush on the front drivers side.. Now looking at it, it has worn into an oval shape so i thought no problem i'll change the bush. the spring end looks as though it has spread and this is why it has become outta shape. On further inspection i looked at both sets of springs and the other side has 11 leafs instead of 9. Can anyone explain why ??. Is there a reason for this?? Are Chevy springs the same as Gmc ones as it looks as though i might change both.
Regards
Kevin

Sounds like you've a front spring from a winch equipped Chevy and another from a non-winch truck ( Chevy )
The spring bushings and pins are commonly avail thru most spring /suspension shops here stateside, hope fully you an easily locate them there as well.
I have never compared them side by side to the CCKW springs

Hope this helps
