As reported over and over on other forums, I have been using my truck quite a lot, hauling mulch, cinder block and other building and landscape material for the new house.
Last night, I went to get some flagstone to use as a walkway thru the new flower beds from the rear gate access to the new pool.
In addition, I needed to pick up shrubs and tress as well.
We have been frequenting this loacl nursery/stone yard for our needs, and last night after work, I raced home and fired up the chevy and ran on up there to get my load
The load exceeded 1000 lbs. The truck didnt even take notice.
This weekend, once I have completed the planting and stone work, Ill go get a full truck bed load of loose mulch.
How fun is it to actually USE our trucks that we spend so much money on?
How better to actually use them for work when they arent being used for parades and other activities?
I tell you I have this high level of pride knowing my truck can earn its keep.
It also helps in the wifey department. Seeing the truck earn its keep only helps ensure the truck stays around for a long time!
Another 1000 lb load hauled home
