Keep'em Spraying

Like most of us, I rely a lot on spray paint cans for those little touch-up jobs.

However, even after following the instructions on the can (the part about turning the can upside down and spraying until only air comes out), I often experienced problems with clogged spray nozzles the next time I used the can.

Lately, after doing the upside down can thing, I have been pulling the nozzle off the can, and cleaning it with carburetor cleaner. The plastic extension on the carb cleaner fits right into the base of the spray nozzle. A quick squirt and all of the paint is cleaned out of the nozzle. A quick shot of compressed air after that blows out any residual cleaner left in the nozzle.

I have found this to work very well, and have not experienced a clogged nozzle ever since I started doing this.

Best Regards.....
