Horn mounting.

Which more parts would I need to mount my horn in the steering wheel?

Something wrong there:


1st there is a wire coing from a slip ring on the column below the dashboard. This wire isoldered to the slip ring and extends up to past the nut and has a spring on it.

I don't have one apart right now, but there are two screws that hold the cover that holds the horn button down. I don't see any screw holes in the picture. Again this is from memory

horn design is overly complicated to say at least, the most important part is brass ring which has to slide along inside rod all the way from top to the place faceing openning in the outer tube, you need to remove steering wheel and outer tube, is it possible to do in site I wouldn't know since steering wheel is stuck on mine GMCand I didn't force it in order not to brake it, believe or not I managed to dismantle whole vehicle, send it for sandblasting and then put back together with steering wheel permanently attached to steering column

I don't think you can get the outer tube off on a closed cab. I am pretty sure you can't get the column out unless it is a panel or open cab
