Are you talking where it is mounted to the floor, or where the linkage attaches? My linkage attachements are bolts.

My cargo CCKW lost the whatever a while back. I personally have gone over to elastic stop nuts in any place where I have lost a bolt or nut. This summer, the rear view mirror insied the cab just about fell off. That had been on ther for 25 years! When you think about it, driving on those NDTs are like driving on a spur gear and they tend to add vibration to the truck.

Brad:

BTW I use aircraft wired bolts on the xfer and pillow block. Both of them almost fell out after years of being just fine...

Mine is a pin with a round head on one end- you can get them at hardware stores I just got one and installed it on my Chevy.
