Chevy cab - Need information for an hole

Post by m38cdnbill »

Hello Chevy experts,

I need to know if the center hole, on the Chevy cab which is behind the seat and sets the channel on the floor, is well at a distance of 4 ½ inches from the back of the cab as it appears on this picture. Be carefull, the place of this hole is not the same on the GMC cab.

Waiting for your replies.

Hello Retro,

Thanks for your answer. I observed that the channel on the Chevy cab is narrower than the GMC. In addition, the center hole on the GMC channel is slightly offset from those at each end, which is not true on the Chevy channel. Here is a picture of the center hole on the GMC cab.

Just confirming what Retro-roco already stated.

The hole on the 2 Chevy Cabs I have here are identical to yours.

Hello Bill,

Thanks for the confirmation. Here are two pictures of the Chevy cab channel. As soon as possible, I will take pictures of a GMC cab channel.
