Those cute little things can be trouble. Just because you think you found a newone or replaced them all in order to allow the gear boxes to breath well-they MAY NOT. They have a pressure rating, and the CCKW, Jeeps,Dodges, etc require the ones that have the lowest operating pressure. They all look the same and look cute when new and shiny. There are at least 3 pressure ratings. Using the wrong one will cause pressure to build and encourage leaks.
I have the correct ones in my bin.

joel - where is the gearbox breather situated? Not at home with my truck at the moment but do have a maintenance manual - cant see it though .....
